Kimberly (Franco) Gilbert lost her brother to suicide during her 22nd year of service as a Military Police Officer, so she retired early to pursue suicide prevention full-time. During her role as Suicide Prevention Program Manager, she identified a critical gap in the area of training. Military Family members did not have access to quality and informative suicide prevention training. She gathered a team, and the course was developed using evidence-based techniques. This course fills that long-standing gap and provides training for those who are in contact with the Service member the most.
Kimberly also realized the need for training within the Faith-Based organizations. The 4R for Faith course is currently available only in-person with an online version coming in Summer 2025. If you would like to bring this class to your community, contact Kimberly at [email protected].
She currently conducts training for small groups, corporate agencies, universities, and colleges ensuring they have the skills to help make an impact in this fight against suicide.
She is a master trainer in many disciplines and has been certified as an instructor for over 21 years.
